Maybe travel gets us a little. No W next to Gonzaga that’s the furthest. Chicago -> back to CT -> Omaha over 6 day span in Feb; didn’t put W for Marquette XL and @Creighton back to back.

I overrated Texas and Gonzaga and the middle of the BE. I did pick the BE opening loss at Seton Hall, but nailed the last month with the exception of at Marquette, though who knows how that plays out if Kolek is available.

Some predicted 18-2 in the BE halfway through the season and that was pretty close.

Hurley has the anti Kolek equation figured out and its called a steady dose of Castle and Diarra. Just to add this is hte reason i say if it comes to it Uconn mops the floor with Purdue. loyer and Smith would get eaten alive by those two and worn out chasing Cam and Newt all night on screens. Good luck with that.
For the record just to add to the conversation i believe i had us at 25-6 or 24-7 before the season started so i expected a great season but obviously this far exceeded my expectations.

I didn’t see us losing at home to anyone .
But Loses at
Xavier ( they were a preseason NCAA lock)
Creighton
Marquette
would have been no surprise
@ PC or @ St John‘s were also losable.
26-5 was the worst outcome without other overriding issues.
I was kind of stunned by the SH loss .
We played through some injuries that could have hurt simply outscoring a gritty Butler team and Xavier without the Big Guy..



Xavier fell apart with injuries
