This is why most marketing is total bullshat. Yea, Of Course There Was Higher Satisfaction. We Won Football Games.

Jesus.

Win. More. Games.

... and they clearly acknowledge that:

>>Also, the Gameday Net Promotor Score* amongst season ticket holders increased nearly 100 points – a nearly unprecedented upswing. This is likely partially due to moderate improvement in the team’s on-field performance (we can assume this because single game purchasers’ NPS also rose, though not nearly as dramatically), but can also be attributed to the additional tailgating time, concession perks and other gameday-related benefits offered to season ticket holders for the first time in 2015.<<

We took a step forward and that's good. Very curious what our new AD has in mind to keep raising the bar.

UConn has a tough fanbase to crack. The typical stadium stuff goes over like a lead balloon.

I'm pretty sure the weather has more to do with a survey than anything else.

"UConn sees uptick in metrics, says company paid by UConn AD to create and measure satisfaction metrics. Film at 11"

This isn't complete BS, but it's close.

Oh, and extra bonus BS for having a picture of none other than DeFilippo on the bottom right.

They liked 2015 better than 2014? Wow, shocking. What could be the cause?

If you think about it, the following improvements were made last year- food choices were improved by bringing in outside vendors to offer barbeque, panninis, cupcakes, steamed cheeseburgers and more. Tweaks with the new scoreboard improved the in game information and I felt like there were less glitches with the scoreboard. I can see where there was a satisfaction update.

2-10. 6-6 plus a bowl game. HHHmmmmmmmm?

I also thought Scott's cooking improved.

It was better all around: wins and competitive loses, improved food and beverage selection, the dog pack image on 3rd downs (I think that was new last year), etc. All in all, a great time.

They improved the beer selection. Now they need to put a Two Roads stand on my side of the field and lose the Harpoon,

Here's what has me and some others in our group wavering. Our tickets, with the obnoxious seat donation ($100) and parkings costs would be $400 per guy. That's $57 per game. There's not a single game on the schedule worth $57 to me, especially Maine. If we cherry pick games instead of getting season tickets we save a fair amount of $ and don't have to sit through Maine and any others we don't care t. We'd no longer sit with the folks we've been surrounded by for years, but it may be the direction we take. Has anyone had success negotiating away the seat donation? At closer to $40 per game I'd feel a little better, but the first time I see a promotion for cheap tickets to the general public, I would be PO'd all over again.

That's not going to happen...it's ironic you bring this up though because this is the EXACT same reason one of my good friends gave up his Penn St tickets after 20 seasons.

I always wondered how they can call it a donation if it's mandatory. Is it because of the tax write off?

Take the damn mousetrap off your wallet and pony up the few dollars. You're talking about a difference of $17 a game and the $100 donation. That amounts to about $.35 a day all year. Surely you are not so destitute that you can't afford that.Support the University, for god sake. It reminds me of the guy who goes 2 miles out of his way to get gas at $1.89 rather than $1.92. On a 15 gallon tank, that's $.45.

Chill out there Geordi. No sense jumping ugly with me and making assumptions. I support my university in a number of ways and that's all you need to know. My commentary is about bang for my buck. Just because I love my school doesn't mean I have to spend bad money on it. There's no way on Earth I would pay $57 for a game like Maine if it wasn't included in the package. I'm also not looking forward to Tulane or UCF. The rest of the home schedule is OK, but outside of Syracuse is really lacking in must see games for me. I'd rather cherry pick a few games and go to more basketball or hockey games as I think that would be a better use of my sporting money.

I think you are very rational. But why not just get seats that don't have a donation attached? There isn't a bad seat in the house.

Regular reserved seats are $25/game or $175 for the season. I'm not sure what the cheapest parking option is, but hard for me to imagine that parking is the thing keeping you out of the stadium. If you are paying $57 for Maine, that's on you. Carpool and pay $25. Hard to argue that's a bad value.

We sit in 240, on about the 15-20 yard line behind the opponents team and right near their travelling fans. Decent seats, but 2nd level and a bit towards a corner. I figured if these have a seat donation then every seat must. I will mention this to the group leader as it could be the perfect solution for us. I would like to hit some hoops and hockey games, but season tickets for football kind of saps my non-golf money. Freeing up a few bucks allows that. As a group we only did 1 hockey game this past season and no hoops.

And while we are not so good you will have plenty of room to move to better seats.

Don't try to move down too early in the game though. Some seat holder will be drinking on the lot until second quarter... LOL

Whatever you do, don't venture into 242. You've been warned. Right @J187Money ?
