Thinking about scheduling ahead....BYU exiting independent football land and going to the B12 conf schedule in 2023 will free up some schools to help us fill gaps in the years ahead.

Q: Will the 3 power conference alliance and their playing each other affect our ability to schedule going forward? Even for body bag games, as well as H & H.

For 22, we need to somehow get UVA at home.
For 23, UMass is fine. We need one additional P5 home game and road game.
For 24, we can do the away half of the Virginia series. However, we need one P5 home game and one FCS home game.
For 25, we need two P5 home games with the away games in 27.
For 26, we need 2 more P5 games with one at home and one away.

Let's get someone who will recruit FBS players for a coach. Let's get a QB who can throw (I think we do with Steven Krajewski and Tyler Phommachanh), receivers who can catch the ball, an OL who can block. If we do that, we might beat Bama!! A Longshot, but doable!!

Just as SW Utah's intended cotton cultivation never fared well, Dixie State's recently proposed new name, Utah Polytechnic State University, quickly withered on the stem (no pun intended). Apparently, short is sweet. The school's now opting for Utah Tech University ("UTU").

Just passed through there last month, St. George is really nice. The scenery of driving there from Vegas feels like driving through a mountain pass on Mars.

Similarly, driving through Zion National Park offers many life long easterners particularly interesting scenery. A well-timed full moon drive through Zion is both impressive and a bit eerie.

Update: there are 8 schools that need at least 1 game for 2022:

Kansas-needs a home game
Rutgers-needs a home game
Kent State-needs a home game
UAB-needs a home game
Duke-needs a home game


Which leaves us with three possibles:

CMU-needs one game (they would prefer home but they commonly play only 5 home games)
MTSU-needs two games
Miami (FL)-needs two games

I want Miami LOL
