Thought this was interesting. Movie posters are tailored and sent to each prospective recruit for UConn Football to try to convince them to become a Husky. I have to say... they're pretty terrible, but interesting what goes on behind the scenes of recruiting. Unfortunately these were the only two I was able to find images of.

I'll bite... Why are they "pretty terrible"?

Didn't Allen commit to BCU?

Yup after decommiting from Northwestern. If they are really official UConn recruiting material they would be sent during the lead up to committing. I wanna say UCLA did the same thing with Chris Clark (could be wrong on the UCLA part).

Has to be tough to come up with something that would catch the attention of a kid on a weekly basis for 52+weeks in a row - no?

The Mike Conlan background image looks like it was downloaded from Myspace in 2005.

If you're recruiting someone you should put in the time to find a quality photo.

"Hey guys, look at this blurry ass poster Uconn sent me." - Mike Conlan

Maybe because he comes into focus as a player while wearing state flag blue?

That could be it, but they also misspelled "Pursue" as "Persue" on Conlan's poster, so I assume its laziness over artistic vision.

Where on earth did you find this and what makes you think it is real
