UConn finally lacing 'em up again; host Butler tonight

Huskies haven't played since Jan. 9​

The third-ranked Huskies have done a lot of practicing the past four weeks. Their Big East game against Butler at Gampel Pavilion tonight is their first since Jan. 9 and only their third since finishing a stretch of five games in 11 days on Dec. 22 to open the season.

A win tonight moves Auriemma 1 game past Pat Summitt into sole possession of 2nd place on the Division 1 coaches all time career win list at 1099, second only to Tara VanDerveer at 1105.

I don't know who wrote the title to Adamec's article, because for the most part Geno does not agree with Mulkey's position as the article itself and Geno's availability makes plain. And as Geno said the kids want to play and they are safer playing than being put back in the general school population.

"I don't know that anything that she said was completely off the charts wrong." That isn't agreement folks, that's Geno temporizing calling Mulkey flat wrong.
