UConn finally finishes at or higher in AAC than preseason poll

UConn was picked to finish 6th by the AAC coaches in the preseason poll and they ended up in 5th. I believe this is the first time they met or exceeded the preseason poll. Of course they did win the national championship one of those years, which was obviously more important. But every year it felt like the Huskies fell short of expectations in the AAC. With everything that happened this season it feels like finishing 5th was a good accomplishment.

Just happy they finally exceeded expectations in the regular season and really happy this is the last season in this conference. Onward and upward. Now let's hope they do some damage in the AAC Tournament.
