uconn fans at the MD game

My wife and I joined about 200 Uconn fans among 16,000 Terapins. Very nice arena, fans were courteous until the last 3 minutes. It was definitely worth making the trip. Now I will enjoy watching Uconn women BB eclipse their many records, notably their 90 win record.

I had a slightly different experience. I was sitting in front of a group that started the game by using the word "sucks" after each Husky player was introduced. I then got to hear how "UConn always gets all the calls" and whining about how Lou and Kia travel every time they take a shot. Other than that, it was a great game. Fun to watch and the result was totally satisfying, though I dare not tell my wife and daughter that. After all, Erin is a Terrapin! (And I am quite glad of that as I am paying in-state tuition at UMD).
