Fairfield is a fairly decent team, despite their 7-11 record. They won a road series at Stetson and split a 4 game set vs. a very good Lamar team. They stunk in a series vs Penn and lost two close games to a strong Bethune Cookman team, but for the most part they should be a solid MAAC team this year.

If we get another good outing by the bullpen, we'll be fine. If not, Fairfield can beat us or at least give us hell for 9 innings. Gotta get these midweek games.

Toppa in the field for the first time this season. Hmmm.

Love the freshman. Moriarity singles and is doubled in by Prato. 1-0 UConn

With Lambrecht off to a great start at the plate so far as well, I'm really excited to see what the infield looks like two years from now.

Offense is not producing at a high level vs. a MAAC midweek pitcher at all. We're getting some hits but cannot seem to put anything together.

Winkel and Moriarity with back to back doubles, but Moriarity was thrown out at 3rd. 2-1 UConn but we just threw away a run there.

Stefanski singles and Prato walks, we are threatening.

3-1 UConn going to the bottom of the 5th. Feldstein's bat is now on a milk carton.

Damn this thread is dead. Am I the only one not at work?

Domnarsky escapes trouble in the 6th. Still 3-1 UConn, let's get some insurance runs please.

Nah... you seem to got it. I went to post and you posted @ same time so I deleted to avoid "stuttering"

Yay! We escape with 0 damage in a bases loaded, less than 2 out situation yet again.

Yahn called out for not touching home plate to end the top of the 8th. Damn...

Never mind, overturned! 4-1 UConn!

Moriarity makes it 6-1 UConn going to the bottom of the 8th.

I have always like Nepiarsky and thought he had good stuff. Really glad to see that he seems to be putting it together and giving us solid innings.

I am in Dallas for the final four
