Welcome to the UConn WBB Weekly, a recap of everything that happened in the world of UConn women’s basketball over the past week from the team that runs The UConn Blog and Storrs Central.

2020 Big East women's basketball media day is today, so we look back at how the conference came to its current iteration.

It's impossible to rejoin a conference you never left.

Maybe it's just me but I'm sick of reading about UConn "leaving" the BE after the 2013 season. UConn never left the BE. The conference that is now called the BE was started after all the catholic schools left the BE conference when it went football. The BE renamed itself and sold it's BE name to those schools for a $million or two.
