UConn could have issues moving football against nation’s top-ranked run defense
>>UConn’s rushing numbers at first glance actually aren’t too tough to swallow. The 557 yards and seven touchdown runs are the most for the Huskies through four games since the 2010 season. However, UConn’s inability to get the tough yards around the goal line cost them victories in both the Navy and Syracuse games.
The Huskies have run 31 times in the red zone for a grand total of 30 yards and they will be squaring off with a defense which has only faced 13 plays in the red zone in the first four games of the season, including only five running plays.<<
