Some scary/interesting offensive stats here for UConn during AAC conference play:

http://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/schools/connecticut/2016.html#totals_conf::none

Purvis: 35.3% from 2 pt, 29.7% for 3 pt, 2,3 rebounds pg, 1.3 assists pg
Gibbs: 27.6% from 2 pt, 48.8% from 3 pt, 2.7 assists pg
D'Ham: 23.1% from 2 pt, 25.9% from 3 pt, 9 rebounds pg, 4 assists pg
Miller: 52.9% from 2 pt, 50% from 3 pt
Adams: 50% from 2 pt, 10% from 3 pt, 1.1. assists pg
Calhoun: 55.6% from 2 pt, 25% from 3 pt, 1.7 rebounds pg
Facey: 52.9% from 2 pt, 4 rebounds pg
Nolan: 41.7% from 2 pt, 3 rebounds pg

Take Away??

1) Shonn Miller is easily the most consistent and dangerous player on the team
2) Gibbs is a great set shooter from outside, can't create his shot inside.
3) Have Adams play point more and drive to the basket and/or dish for the 3 (preferably to Gibbs)
4) Have D'Ham be a facilitator and grab rebounds, not shoot
5) Cut Purvis playing time (not producing from the field)
6) Give Calhoun more playing time (he is shooting over 50 percent in 2pt range)
7) Give Facey more playing time at center instead of Nolan (shooting 11 percent better from the floor, rebounding more)
8) When Brimah gets back, might be interesting to start with the following 5: Brimah (center), Facey (power forward), Miller (small forward), Gibbs (shooting guard), and Adams (point guard)

Will Hamilton's game come back with Brimah. We needed him to be a leader without AB.

Offense is stagnant without Purvis.

We go into every game now doing nothing for the first 5 minutes, then bring Purvis in and catch up with the other team. Cutting his time is a recipe for cutting offensive production.

That starting lineup should get us about 30 points a game.
