UConn bracing for ‘deep cuts’ to sports and academics

As suspected UConn will most likely be cutting some sports. Whether that be in admin or the teams themselves is yet to be seen.

Yeah, I saw this and I thought it would be a bigger topic of discussion here.

Probably isn’t bc the major sports are safe thanks to the construction projects and stadium deal. As for rowing, tennis, track, cross country, etc. I don’t think they will all be in tact a year from now. Athletic department salaries have been cut significantly. Time to cut sports.
