UConn basketball just had the best week ever

Hey HMedic
Yeah on the surface, it wasn't the best of times, however, as the article states, there are silver linings- the violations are ridiculous in general but more importantly absolutely nothing compared to what has been in the news about college basketball over the past 12 months. I can't imagine what the rightful penalty(s) would be for Zona/Miller, Creighton, LSU if the NCAA and Emmert have the nads to play fair or more importantly why the death penalty wasn't handed down to UNC and Louisville.

Let's just forge ahead and hope the recruitment in mens basketball improves in all position areas and the football team isn't completely burned by the decision - never mind the financial implications that could occur should there be any shift in direction over the next decade.

The fall and time for games/practices to start cannot get here quick enough for me

I'd still take the last week of March, 1999 over it, any day.
Five wins in five days for the BE championship back in 2010 was pretty special, too.

I must have been comastose when we did it in 2010 but I do remember when we did it in 2011.
I will make that mistake again the next time I bring it up, too. Don't know why, but when I think of it, I think of 10, not 11.

Since the College Basketball season always encompasses two years.
It really was the 2010-11 year that won the NC . Maui actually took place in 2010.
That’s always a question when you reference a team.
I suppose since the post season is the predominant time of year the later date is appropriate to use.
To avoid any confusion I like to reference both dates as it’s more accurate.

Since my original statement specifically referenced "5 wins in 5 days" 2011 was really the only year, so my addled mind blew it saying 2010.
