Reading the Tale of Two Programs, Colgate and Syracuse, I'm reminded how many WCBB coaches say that their teams benefit from playing UConn. And why not? Almost every time the Huskies take the floor they put on a clinic for the other team. But if memory serves in at least one instance it went beyond that. Geno offered and was gratefully invited to put on a real clinic for the hosts, or was it visitors? It seems so natural: Geno wants to grow the game of women's college basketball. Most other coaches (but clearly not all) have the ego strength and self-respect to acknowledge how much they and their teams can learn from Geno and his staff. If this became something Geno offered to select programs, could that make UConn an even more desirable match-up?
