Yahn and Risedorf will enter their senior years of high school in the fall. They can sign their binding letters of intent Nov. 1. Yahn hit .662 with 12 doubles and four home runs for Housy this spring. As a pitcher, he struck out 102 batters in 67 innings. Yahn had narrowed his choices to Virginia Tech, Boston College, Stony Brook and Maine. Yahn and Risedorf are both playing for Team Connecticut AAU 18-U and are in Richmond, Va., this week. Risedorf hit better than .600 and led the Highlanders to a 19-1 regular season, the Berkshire League title and the Class M state title game in June, losing to St. Joseph of Trumbull, 2-1.
