As a father of a son who plays for penders I can tell you that he has been true to his word. He told my son everything he expected out of him, good grades, no drinking or drugs and on and on. The Ncaa only allows 11.7 scholarships for the baseball program, which doesn't give coach much leeway, so if you don't keep up your end of the bargin then you lose the money and that is no matter what school you go to. The season is short and the coach cant wait for a player to get going 3 or 4 weeks into the season. The money is tight and their is not enough to go around.
