Anyway, the position players have for the most part done pretty well over the first 6 games of the season. With the exception of Connor Lane, the bench players who have gotten playing time have done very well offensively. It definitely is looking like that with the position players that it appears that the depth of ability on this UConn team is very good. If some of the starters who are not doing well continue to have problems with their offense, they could find there way to the bench. One player who is off to a slow start offensively is the leadoff hitter Caleb Shpur. I would guess it is very possible that he may be moved the bottom of the order or to the bench if he continues not to get on base. [/QUOTE]
