That final series vs Maine is unfortunate but the rest of the schedule is pretty interesting.
Oklahoma State. Would have been the cherry on top.Originally, I heard that UConn had a home series against a Big 12 team at home to conclude the regular season. However, due to the Big 12 expansion of schools, that series had to be cancelled. Maine was a late replacement for that other series.

Will go to NC and Duke. Hopefully night games so I can take the grandkidsThe schedule in the month of March is nuts. I like it.
Down to 48Freshman RHP Joey Tonnotti is now not listed on the online UConn baseball roster.
Would have been great. Many more UConn fans up there now after following Brady for the last 3 years.Though not very convenient, it would have been nice had the series with Maine been broken up with the two teams meeting in Maine for either the first or last game. Hadlock Field (home of the Portland Sea Dogs) would presumably be available for those dates since the Dogs are on the road, and is not quite mid-way between Storrs and Orono. (About three hours from Storrs to Portland; 2 hours from Orono to Portland) It would have broken up the trip a bit for the Bears at one end or the other, and it would have been a homecoming game for Brady Afthim, who is from the Portland area. And the fact that I live about a half hour from Hadlock Field has NOTHING to do with the suggestion. Sanford, ME would be another possibility. They have a (highly regarded) 1000 seat stadium that is home to the Sanford Mainers of the NECBL. Only slightly closer to Storrs, and not right off the highway like Portland, though. The Huskies played Maine at Hadlock 20 years ago or so when Andy Baylock was the coach.
