UConn bar in DC?

Any UConn fans on here from the DC area? I'm looking to see if there's a bar in DC that anyone congregates at to watch the games.

I haven't lived there for four years but the closest thing to a UConn bar when I was there (2005-2010) was the Grand Slam in the Grand Hyatt Hotel. http://www.yelp.com/biz/grand-slam-sports-bar-washington-2

That said, you wouldn't find a reliable contingent watching each and every game. It was more a gathering place for big weekend games or tournament games.

Yes, I used to go to the Grand Slam Sports Bar up until 2001. Grevey's in Falls Church used to have a UConn contingent as well.

Grand slam is still the place, I guess. I went there mid season for a conference game and the turnout was awful. From the MSU game through the end of the tourney there were 50-100 uconn people in there and it was very fun.

I don't think there is a consistently good scene for the games.

I'm not on Facebook but that is where I'm told most people spread the word about watching games.

I've lived down here for a few months. I haven't found a bar with a large UConn contingent, but if you're new to the area I can suggest several cool sports bars. 51st State is the "New York" sports teams' bar (so they certainly have SNY), Capitol Lounge is the Patriots' bar, I really enjoy Union Pub and Buffalo Billiards, and then there are several cool places over in Chinatown (There is a sportsbar/restaurant called Redline that has beer taps in the middle of the booths).
