UConn Back In Win Column, Back To Work
>>“I told [players], you're going to get a lot of congratulations and all that,” Edsall said. “You're going to get the sugar. But when you eat too much sugar, you end up getting fat. We don't have anything to get fat about. We just have to keep getting better. Hopefully, getting a win will help them work a little harder, clean things up and understand how hard you have to work and prepare to win.”<<
>>The difference, other than Temple simply not being as explosive as Memphis, is that UConn carried out more assignments than it had in any game during its losing streak.
“Guys just understanding some things a little bit better and just doing their job,” Edsall said. “We played some of the same calls we've played. We just went out and did a better job of executing. There were some guys who weren't out there before, and maybe that was part of it as well.”<<
