Last night's crowd of 13,659 was the largest of the year (Baylor was 12,415) so NO ONE should say that no one cared about this game. Whether or not they continue this series will depend on Geno/CD and how well they like or want to interact with Kellie and the UT Admin.
That said, UConn is averaging 10,003 fans thus far into the year for 8 home games (5 at XL, 3 at Gampel). We have 6 games left (2@XL and 4@GP) with the biggie being Oregon on Mon Feb 3 at GP. Of the remaining 5, only 2 are worthy opponents-UCF and USF that could draw good crowds. Below is the current attendance for the 8 games and the past 8 years worth of fans. I find it interesting that many bemoan this team and their short-comings, yet attendance shows more people want to see this team than any of the Stewart led teams. Only Gabby, Kia, KLS and Pheesa's team in 2017-18 drew more fans...
Keep coming out people, the atmosphere is great when the house is full!
