UConn at #24 in the Pre-season AP Top 25 poll

So proud of this team and kudos to Hurley and his squad for getting us to where we are! This would not be possible without the work put in to build our '19, '20 and '21 classes and maintaining the relationships and good vibes to keep them here (or in the pros).

Looking forward to what's to come!

Remember this moment, where we are excited about being ranked #24.

Hopefully we won't feel this way again for many years. Just saying I can't wait to get back to being a top 10 team, year in and year out and moments like this are expected.

Great news. Need to stay there. It's always best if you show up on the bottom of the ESPN screen and on the scores reported in every sports app. Huge additional visibility from being ranked.

Just the latest speculation after the Big East commish mentioned considering possible conference expansion.
While I would love to add Gonzaga in the BE, that would be a hell of a flight to Washington state for away games! Worse than any trips from The American days.

Very nice accolade. It’s great to be in the rankings again
Now let’s go out and beat some good teams and live up to it
Can’t wait

Happy to see our progress has been noticed but preseason rankings are trash. They shouldn't even put out rankings until Christmas.

Starting the season as a potential #5 seed. Nice! All kidding aside this is good for the program and should be the beginning of a long, long run of consecutive weeks in the AP Top 25 hopefully.

We've played Washington and Stanford OOC before so I don't think it's that big of a deal.

One trip out there each year isn’t bad
It’s Gonzaga that we need to be concerned with as far as scheduling
I would love to have them
It's a no brainer for the Big East. The travel only impacts Gonzaga but Fox and the league can definitely make it work for them with scheduling. I think it's a no brainer for Gonzaga as well. I don't think they're going to fall off a lot when Few retires but the chance is certainly there, if they join the Big East it stabilizes them and the chances of them falling off is greatly reduced.
