I only remember him as Horshack from Welcome Back Kotter. My condolences to the family.

Wow -- first Epstein now Horshack. And Barbarino hasn't exactly had an easy year.

Hope Boom Boom is staying out of trouble.

Met his brother a few times up in West Hartford where he worked as a car salesman. RIP Horshack

The bio I read said he was a Fairfield alum; always thought it was Uconn. Best looking former Uconn student: Meg Ryan.

What is an "aluminist"? Sounds like a word Darrell Sheets on "Storage Wars" would say.

Anyway, from a fellow UConn alumnus, R.I.P. Ron.

He did graduate from here. I interviewed him in the early 80s when I was working for the Daily Campus and he was performing in a play at Jorgensen.

.-.
"aluminist"? You just invented a new word. That Ukon edukashun is reely shinin' throo.

I never knew Meg Ryan attended UConn. I had to do a google search, and sure enough, she was born in Fairfield and attended UConn. Her father was an all-state basketball player. I always had a thing for her. Quite the cutie.

From the linked article:
He attended the University of Connecticut and earned parts in Shakespearean productions before his big break.

RIP Ron. I was a real fan of the Kotter show. I hope it was a peacefull passing too young to go.

So now half the the Sweathogs are gone. Well I guess 2/5, but the replacement guy doesn't count.
