Boatright started the season at #36 with 1,194 points.

With 63 points so far this season (1,257 points), Boat has passed Donny Marshall, Albert Mourning, Bill Corley, Stanley Robinson and Tate George for #31.

That 25.) Joey Whelton and 24.) Al Weston back court was a pretty good one. Got the Huskies to the Sweet 16 in '76.

One of the highlights that year was knocking Bruce Campbell and PC out of the tournament in the ECAC play-in playoff.

These lists are fun, but a little deceptive. Putting aside games missed for injury, some of the modern leaders include guys who left early for the pros. Hamilton and Allen would have had out of sight totals with another year. Some of the old time leaders couldn't play as freshmen and played far fewer games in a season and post season when all the schedules were shorter. Bialosukina would certainly have had over 2000. One thing is for sure. They all were/are fun to watch.

I'm not sure he would've gotten that many points but aside from the tourney ban, he also had to deal with the NCAA screwing around with his eligibility early in his career.

As @johnhuskies95 said, I think this is Shabazz the poster was mentioning. But you figure, in 2013, they would have had at least 1 BET game, and 1 NCAA game. Maybe more for each (probably 2 BET games, 1-3 NCAA games).

Would have certainly passed Hanson in the end. Maybe Rip.

Agree with you on that. The national titles that sandwiched the ban have lessened that blow, but I still get livid thinking about it.

He'll get there. He needs 79 points and has at least 10 games to get them.

Let's say Boat averages 18 the rest of the way. If he keeps this up somehow, that's a conservative number. IF that somehow happens, that would put him at 1,729, good for 7th and not far behind Ben Gordon.

Then there's the AAC tournament and at least the NIT, with Boat needing 82 points to pass Corney for 5th.

He'd be 6th if he passes Corny. Don't think Boat will make the top 5, as he would need another 356 points (Ray Allen at #5 with 1,922 points). Boat is definitely a lock for the top 10, though (I think you might have transposed the numbers, as he is 97 points away from tying Cliffy for 10th place).
