That's fair. I'll take a W anyway we can get it- keep our momentum building so we can get revenge on Lville and SMU.

... and we win by double digits. Scored 90 on them last month. Should get it well into the 70's or even 80's tonight and cover that spread.

If your a coach and you don't convince you kids that you next opponent is great ,your not doing your job. If every game isn't a challenge then upsets happen.
Calhoun treated the next opponent like they were the Old Celtics.
In all the years he coached the number of losses to lesser teams was extremely small.

Calhoun is an all-time great. A Hall of Famer. Depending on who you ask, a top 5 coach of all time.

But let's not pretend that his teams didn't occasionally (frustratingly so) play down to their opponents level. It just happens.

Has been a scary week for college basketball. Cannot take this game lightly in the slightest.
True point...Temple has tall perimeter players who can be very dangerous from three. Must game for the Huskies, we are doomed, clearly DOOMED!

At this point of the year we really shouldn't be coming close to dropping a game like this. This team is getting better and better, really hope see something nice out of DD; mismatch all night.

I agree with James. Temple stinks, and in spite of surprising SMU in their last game, they are just not good. Sure UCONN the bed in their game vs. Houston earlier, another really bad team, but we redeemed ourselves by destroying them by about 40 in the 2nd meeting.

We beat Temple by 24 last time at home. Daniels was a beast that game. Is he back to 100%? I'll give them 5-7 points for home court, but I think we are playing better and have tightened our rotation even more. I don't think Temple's front court is overly daunting (Lee and Watson?). Honestly, I'd be mildly disappointed with anything under a 15 point win, but at this time of the year, style points are mostly irrelevant...

I'm worried about this game. We killed them at home the last time we played them, it's a 9:00 game sandwiched between two of the biggest home games on our schedule, and Temple is at least feeling good about themselves after knocking off a ranked SMU team. Hopefully UConn comes prepared for a fight.
