Hello kind folks,

I am in the slow process of finding FULL GAME videos that highlight Uconns amazing run from 1990 to 2015. They are in mp4 to limit the space it takes on my "little" hard drive, haha. The goal is to compile a digital time capsule, of sorts, to (try) show to my future kids so they can, in a different way, catch the same Husky fever I caught in the early 90s as a young one...hopefully just before our dear Huskies make another run for my kids to see :).

Now, I already know there number of games that people think are "missing" from the list above. So I think I will expand this to 75 games in the end, in which case I would love some ideas on 25 more games to add.

I already have some ideas (but I can not find the full games, as of now)

Games I want to add but can not find:
Uconn/San Diego (loss)
Uconn/Zona (OT win) 2002
Uconn/PC (OT win, Jan 2013)
Uconn/PC (OT win, March 2013)
Uconn/Texas (win by 14)
Uconn/Texas (loss) 2015
Uconn/gtown (OT loss) 2013
Uconn/Wvirginia (win, 2000)
Uconn/PC (loss, 1996) allowing PC to go to the BET finals
Uconn/NC State (win, 2002)
Uconn/NC State (loss, 2005)
Uconn/Texas (loss, 2003)
Uconn/Nova (loss, 2006)
I feel like Uconn played a great game vs Gonzaga after 1999 but I do not recall.

Adding those brings me to 63. I am sure there are 12 more games, so please give me some ideas!

The losses make the wins all the more sweet, I do not believe in only having wins in my "time capsule" hence the Florida, Ole Miss, UCLA, Gmason, etc. games included. Some of the losses, objectively, were VERY good games. The Gmason game was incredibly painful, it really broke my heart, but objectively was one of the best tourney games in the history of the sport, it can not be excluded. Other losses, like the 86-83 loss at UNC display a. the heart of Uconn as they made a comeback and nearly won it on the road and b. How important an even greater blue blood viewed a win over Uconn when they were at their peak. This was, objectively, a top 100 regular season game in college ball history and can not be ignored. The loss hurt, but seeing how crazy UNC fans went over a win over Uconn made me (and lots of fans) realize Uconn had "arrived". The OT win over Zona (100-98) was likely a top 50 regular season game in the history of the sport, IMO.

#1 Texas coming into gampel in the 2009-10 season is one I would add to the list.

Also the air force base game against MSU. KOs first game.
Yes, that was the win by 14, 88-74 if I recall.

The airforce game was in 2010 and Uconn beat Kentucky the very next day, byyyyyy a lot, correct?

I would add 2011/2012 season - Big East Tournament game vs. West Virginia. We were down late and Shabazz had something like 3 steals in the last few minutes to bring us back and send the game to overtime, where we won it. One of those games where our defense took over and willed us to victory.

@tcf15 has got damn near the entire history here:

UConn Husky Games

My guess is he's already got each of those missing ones on your list.

I would add that the January 1990 regular-season win over Georgetown at the Civic Center was and will probably forever remain the most important regular-season win in program history.

Should also add the NIT win in 1988.

How about the opening game at Gampel in 1990 vs St John's. Place was a zoo. Also, regular season, 1994 vs BCU at Conte. Down 17 with about 10 min to go we came back to win in OT. Calhoun willed that team to that win. Man, I miss him on the sidelines.
Great thread, great memories. I will add as I think of them.
From the archives, how about 1976 vs Hofstra in the NCAA tourney at the Providence CC. Down by about 20 at the half. Joe Whelton led us to a great win. Calhoun would have loved Whelton, couple of tough Irishmen.

That nc state win in 2002 was great. Caron getting fouled on a 3 with 8 sec left hitting them all and adding a few more later. Clutch.

First game I ever attended. Got tickets close to game time on a whim. Were in the last row, backs on concrete. Place was rocking the entire game. Nuts.

That 2002 Arizona game was amazing, somehow better than the amazing upset in 2001.

Wow. Thanks! That is an incredible collection of games. I added 15 of the 17, but won't add the 2 Zags losses. I am up to 65 now. I am going to add St. Johns 1990 and Boston College 1994. 8 more to go!

Still needs more early to mid 1990s I think. Here are some possibilities:

1990 Round of 32 vs. Cal - the first 10 minutes really showed what the Dream Team was all about.

1992 Wake Forest ACC-Big East challenge - Just a kind of fun game, featuring Burrell's famous leap over Rodney Rogers.

1994 BET first round vs. SJU - Donyell goes for 42 at the Garden for the second time that year.

Some others from different periods - Kansas 1997, Indiana 2008 (undermanned teams fight valiantly); Oklahoma 2004 (that squad shows how good they were); and at Marquette 2009 (AJP scores a lot, breaks ankles).

Thanks for including Saturday 1/20/1990 victory over Georgetown. Georgetown was ranked #2 that week, and #1 Kansas had lost to Missouri on Saturday afternoon, so G'town was poised to be #1. A snowy night, travel to the Civic Center was difficult. UConn victory was sign of great accomplishments to come later that season and in subsequent 25 years.

Good one that I forgot about until I re-watched it tonight. I remember St. Johns players complaining, post-game that Uconn was arrogant and the reason they lost to the Huskies was because they did not play as well as they are capable...ended up getting slammed later in the season 82-63.

Any way, added that game, which brings me to 125. Ok, I think that is a good place to stop. The majority of the games mentioned here are on my list!

Thanks!

Pre-1990 but the NIT championship game is of major significance in my opinion.
