Found this nugget on page 6 of the upcoming BOT agenda. UConn pays $2.8 millions for use of The Rent starting 09/01/2015 and ending 08/30/2016 . Appears to be the last contract as no extensions are available.

That's because UConn will be offered & accept admittance to the B1G in October, & an announcement will be made that a new 65,000 pro style stadium will be built in Blue Lot & the RENT will be razed for a parking garage & shopping mall. In my dreams.

An unrelated nugget is also interesting, on pages 101 and 102. We've seen a 23% increase in the number of donors who kick in $25,000 or more per year - and these donors contributed $66 million of our record $78 million haul in 2015 (85% of the total).

Wealthy people are buying what Josh Newton is selling. This is good news.
