I'm with you Dan. It was a very winnable game, but the boys didn't stop or let it end their season short. Yesterday was a great display of passion, energy and emotion from the field to the stands. It was really great to see. It's nice to see Uconn rising up the conference standings instead of going in the other direction.
This year anyways...
We had chances to build a lead in the first half of that game but we couldn't finish drives. Then USF made a solid half-time adjustment to option the edges and we couldn't answer. I came away from that game thinking USF was making good progress under Taggert. Sometimes you just gotta credit the other guys. Seeing what they've done since, including the cincy crush job, should make our loss to them less troubling. We're probably banging heads with USF for the division over the next couple of years.
