UConn 20/1 Odds To Win 2016 AAC Title

I'm not picking us to win the conference but we should be solid 8 win team. We could be unbeaten in the ACC but not the AAC this year.

I don't love our quarterback situation and the Oline is still a huge ? But the d should be good and I love the receiver which should help the quarterback. I am in the minority but I think we will be pretty wide open on offense if the line is any good at all. I also don't love the runners. We need somebody who can get yards in a big spot and I haven't seen that from either one.

Does Vegas have an over/under on how many punts UConn will actually return this season? I don't mean return for a TD, I mean catch on the fly and run forward for 1 or more positive yards.

If... huge if... the OL comes along like most of us are cautiously optimistic it will, and they play as the level of an "average" OL, then 8+ wins are there for the taking. The D will be solid at all 3 levels; I like our WR's and TE's, I believe Johnson and Newsome will both have very solid seasons (and offer a nice change of pace from one another). I think BS will do a good job of game management, creating with his feet to soften up the D when necessary and then taking advantage with his arm. I just hope he can stay healthy (that is my biggest concern.. there is no one tried and tested behind him).

If anyone's heading to Vegas, let me know. Between this and the 5 win projection...I got some money to throw down.

If you are looking to bet that line at Bovada... I wouldn't go to Las Vegas as the LV in their address is Latvia.

Why not us? At 20-1, absolutely worth it. Here's the stat that makes us a lot more more dangerous than many think. Huskies’ sophomores made a total of 127 starts last season, the most in the nation.

Weren't we 100-1 last year? 20-1 is pretty good...i'm happy to see us ranked 7th in the conference. That's some serious improvement from 2014

I'd throw $50 down on winning AAC Championship and some more down on over / under of 5.

Well they only lost the best player in their modern era and possibly their best player statistically ever. And then over 2/3 of their starters. But hey, they're Navy, they don't rebuild they reload right??? SMH

I'd totally bet on Navy winning six games and heading to a bowl--Coach Kenny is too good and facing the triple option is too much of a pain for them to win under six. With that being said, any notion of them winning the AAC is absurd. It's also surprising how little blow back there is on the pundits all ranking USF so freakin high...I get that they ended the season hot, but I think they may end up disappointing some folks. Personally, I'm taking Temple out of the East and Houston in the west. Don't think Houston ends up in NY6 though...a quick loss at OU could be a big blow and lead to a few more losses.

I plan on going EXTRA HEAVY on Over 5 wins. I think it's one of the easiest season plays on the board. Even easier than last year's Over 3 wins.

My floor expectation on the year is 7 wins, with upwards expectations into the 9 and, dare I say, double digit wins on the year. I'll definitely throw a few bones on the AAC Championship odds. We are a bowl team heading into the year already. If a few things go right, why can't we contend for a conference title??
