Favored on the road. Not sure what the bookies are doing about Bouknight. KenPom spread is 2 so they're basically just mirroring that.

But Providence is likely without starting PF Nichols, and their PG Bynum (who has missed the last 8 games) is a GTD like Bouk, but based on Cooley's comments is probably still out.

This line makes no sense- buy that half point down -2 and UConn is a great play - providence is reeling , good chance bouknight plays today , Jackson and Gaffney had breakout games Saturday, friars also missing two of their players due to injury. I know they historically play us tough - but how the hell is this line only -2 - I guess when it doesn’t make sense - there’s a reason for it. I don’t like to bet on my squad , but very tempting to take UConn for a large amount of money today

Yeah I'm with you. The risk is Bouk not playing, but if he plays, I'd bet a few units on UConn. Providence's bench is ABYSMAL right now. Basically non-existent. Their entire bench is averaging 7 points per game combined over the full season. COMBINED!

They also have no PG. Duke and Watson have to literally do everything. Reeves is a 3 point specialist who is only making 31% on the year. Horchler isn't a Big East caliber starter. That's the full roster.

Yeah , I mean normally like I said when a line doesn’t make sense there’s a reason - but I think with all the Covid junk going on -only people who really deeply follow UConn know that this team is way better than what they’ve been showing - almost seems like being a hard-core UConn fan is giving you a huge advantage in this game - the spread should be at least 3-4 even without bouknight playing. Throw in the fact that he might be a gametime decision and you’re playing with house money. Maybe I’m dead wrong but I love it. And I rarely bet on UConn. Sucks I have to DVR the game because of this stupid 4 o’clock start time - I’ll probably be an hour behind - shutting my phone off At 4pm. Lol.

Even if Bouk was back he'd still be rusty and not in game shape. Probably 12 points in the game. I'm still really considering betting it. The -2.5 was baked in planning on Bouk being out or limited, anyway.

Even though you don't have Bouk, we don't have Nichols (car accident - banged up) and most likely still don't have Bynum...So to me this game is a toss up, but your defense is stronger than ours (ours sucks lately)...Gonna be an interesting game...If Duke finally shows back up (been below average over last 2 weeks) then we have a good chance...

This is the first time PC has been under .500 since 2013, the last time UConn and PC played. This is quite possibly their worst team in 15 years. Bynum has been out since beginning of January and won't be at full speed if he plays. One of their best shooters is out indefinitely. David Duke has been in a terrible shooting slump and has played himself out of the first round of the draft. Team is a step slow on defense and the coach has called them soft. They really struggle against tough defense and that’s UConn’s strength.
PC will play better than the KC Chiefs Offensive line but even without Bouknight, UConn wins by 8-10 points and a blowout is not out of the question.
