UConn 1 of 5 FBS w/o Red Zone TD pass

No surprise, but the worst thing in the NCAA red zone stats is is that UConn is among just 5 teams without a red zone TD pass this season. The others: Army, Navy, Georgia Tech (all option teams) and New Mexico (no idea what offense and couldn't give a **T).

UConn Red Zone offense overall: 101st (scoring 75 percent of time in RZ).

Red Zone trips: 12

Red Zone rushing TDs: 6

Red Zone pass TDs: O

Red Zone FGS: 3

For what it's worth: Minnesota is batting 1.000 in red zone. And old friend Bobby Petrino has 9 TD passes in 13 red zone trips.

Apparently our coaches think it is illegal to throw the ball into the endzone.

Seriously though how sad were you when we were 1st and goal from the 8, and knew were going to run 4 straight times. If you felt that way, you think the opposing coach, coached it that way as well?

We pretty much ran behind 4 blockers vs 6 defenders on 3rd down so you can decide whether they were expecting it.
