UCLA is dominant in the paint, and our paint presence consists of a solid, back from ACL Fingall, and two frosh. UCLA is also a bad matchup for Stanford in terms of style of play - although OSU is regularly ranked higher than UCLA, I've been more anxious about UCLA games than OSU games these past three seasons. Jones and Carrington are exactly the players we would need most in this kind of game. At this point, I'm assuming both are out for the season unless and until the coaches say something definitively to the contrary.

As weird as the 2 Mountain @ Washington games having the same score at the half w/ the road team winning? Although those went different directions in the 2nd half.

UCLA gets a dish and layup at the buzzer to end Q3, 50-45. Stanford went scoreless for several minutes. Horvat having one of the best games of her career.

Horvat's been held back by injuries. I remember a couple of years ago watching her for the first time in a preseason exhibition game and thinking she had the tools to have a big impact. She still isn't anywhere near her ceiling and she's playing out of position this year, but it's nice to see her out there competing and healthy.

Stanford has had several long stretches of just missing a ton of shots. Just don't look good tonight.

65-59 w/ a bit over 2 minutes left. Stanford made a little push and then missed 3 or 4 more shots.

The last 2 minutes of the game is going to take about 20 minutes. FT shooting contest. 78-67 UCLA, still 24 seconds left. Not exciting finish to the game.
