Haha.
In all seriousness, this is just the epitome of a patch work season, and I think a lot of people in here had dreams of something more.
-Transfers have struggled to fit into the system, while simultaneously showing us flashes why we were right to be so excited about them
-Bedrock players have underperformed, but also with veteran presence from transfers, I think it's muddied the waters as to who the go-to's on the floor are.
-Underclass players are absurdly talented. Also absurdly gawky and not ready to take up that leadership role yet.
-Brimah injury exacerbated a pre-existing weakness the team already had down low.
Run Maryland off the court in one half. Barely hanging on against Tulane the next. Beat all the teams you should, lose to all the teams that are good. It's close in every game so good luck figuring out what this team actually is. Three games go a different way, we're all singing a radically different tune. Just can't seem to get out of second gear this year.
