1. UConn shot relatively well against an apparently good defensive team. I say apparently only because UCF's schedule hasn't been the strongest.

3. Good rebounding, good toughness down low
4. Unlike the last few times UConn has been in this position, the team answered every UCF run by stretching the lead back to 10 at least. That is about learning how to win. UCF made 3 runs, down to 1, down to 4 and down to 4, and each time UConn stretched the lead back out.
5. Tonight it was obvious how badly this tea needs a PG like Alterique. We simply don't have players who can dribble the ball!
