The WAC will be down to only 8 schools as of 2018, including Cal Baptist, who is transitioning to D-1.

Actually 2020 is the date Cal State Bakersfield starts competing in the Big West. As for the WAC, the 8 remaining schools include Chicago State, a school with bad financial problems. If your looking for a conference in trouble, the WAC is it.

They have been in ‘trouble’ forever. It’s like saying the MEAC and SWAC schools are broke.
