Tweet from John A --signed contract. Home next yr. At Cali following yr - I assume to be paired with Stanford gme.

Since it will be KML's s senior year(the return game) would UConn not want to play in So. Cal vs No Cal(Davis is near Sacramento).
Davis is a young team, this year. They have 5 or 6 girls from OC on the team. I know one of the UC Davis players families so I am putting in a request for a seat, early.
By the way UCD lost to Stanford by 50 this year, at home.

UC Davis will be Husky Chow of the first order, but, as discussed, is for a reason.

In the past some teams have not wanted to play Uconn in a return game. I don't what's true in this case, but I would prefer Uconn play USC or UCLA.

Sounds like UConn tried to schedule UCLA (or USC) but it won't be an ESPN game and the PAC-12 network wouldn't allow the game to be shown on another network in CT. From John A's blog:

UConn and UCLA have been trying to put together a series, something Auriemma wants to do very badly because of his friendship with the Bruins staff and his desire to play again in the area.

The problem is who would get the television rights to the game. If you remember, the Pac12 conference would not allow UConn’s game at Oregon on Dec. 31 to be televised in Connecticut, despite UConn’s desire.

And it appears the conference is not interested in allowing a future game played at any of their schools – at least those not secured by ESPN for its networks – to be shown anywhere but on its own network.

So UConn essentially said ‘no thank you’ and looked for another place to play.

What a bummer about USC and UCLA. It's too bad that the network issues were involved and basically nixed any series. I can't really get up to see the team in Sacramento or Palo Alto. the LA area I certainly could get to. Oh well...

Can they play USD or SDSU?
Well that would be great for me, but the reality is what would it really do for UCONN? They play Stanford way up north. LA is a good recruiting area, but San Diego not so much. Not sure that really benefits UCONN...

Lots of other LA schools -- Irvine, Pepperdine, Cal St-Northridge, Long Beach St, UC Riverside, Fullerton, Loyola Marymount. Too bad couldnt get a game with one of them.

Wonder if this means no home game for KML?

If it benefits Kaleena and Eric, does anyone else matter? :)

You're right. Lots of schools (that we would kill).

I think Diana's senior tour included Pepperdine and a tough game against USC.

This will be a highly competitive basketball contest.
