USA vs Japan Comparison: United States of America v Japan - 29 Jul - FIBA.basketball

IMO USA can ill afford to have a poor shooting start like they have had in most games. Japan has the ability to hit outside shots and Might be able to build a double digit lead. USA has the rebounding advantage. No common opponents in this tournament

Russia vs Canada Comparison: Canada v Russia - 29 Jul - FIBA.basketball I think Russia easily wins this game. IMO they are playing the best of any team in the tournament.

Australia beats China 70-64. Has to be a disappointment for Australia's WBB Program that they aren't in competition for a Medal. They've made strides over the last couple of years to get back to being one of the better Women's BB Programs. Gold Medal in last years U17 World Championship and this year not getting a Medal in the U19 World Championships.

Next interesting game is Spain vs France at 10 AM

France beats Spain 55-53. Spain had the chance to win or tie the game but couldn't get off a good shot as time expired. France missed Free Throws that almost allowed Spain to comeback to win the game.

Looks like Youtube is blocked from showing the game in the US. I expect the same will happen with the USA game.

Russia leads 43-17 at the half. Canada is over matched. IMO Russia will win the Gold Medal. They look like a team that has played together for a year or longer. This Russia team would give this years UConn team a game.

Only on ESPN3 - Russia is leading Canada 43-17 at the half. Russia is getting whatever they want on offense. Canada is hapless, and over matched. Canada can't stop Russia's inside game at all. Canada is going down on offense, not setting anything up, and just jacking up 3's which are not going in, and no one from Canada is hitting the offensive boards. This one is over. Russia will be in the Gold Medal game tomorrow.

58 Rebounds for Russia, 42 for Canada.

Russia is a complete team with talented players, playing team ball.

YouTube Infrastructure has much better feed then what ESPN is providing. If ESPN purchased the feeds, then why aren't they televising the game.

Frustrating watched so many game on Youtube during this tournament with little or no buffering problems. Now have to live with an ESPN feed that has so many buffering issues. Picture Quality is great but not the actual streaming.
