Tyronn Lue named all-star coach

Lue should do the classy thing and turn this down, he didn't earn it. Besides next up would be Dwane Casey of the Raptors who would get to coach in front of his home crowd since the game is being played in Toronto. Also, since Lue is named the East coach and there is some weird rule making Luke Walton ineligible, why isn't Steve Kerr the West coach?

Kerr was the coach last year. Apparently you can't coach two years in a row. That was in the article you posted.

Thanks, missed that. Seems like another silly rule but naming Lue the coach is ridiculous, he would create some fans if he said he doesn't deserve it and turned it down.

It would be pretty silly naming Kerr the coach as well IMO. I think it should be Casey, not just cuz it's in Toronto but they've had a great year thus far. Also for the West, maybe Carlisle or Doc?

When I was a little kid, I was a huge fan of his hair. I'm slightly disappointed that he isn't coaching in cornrows.
