In that video he seems to be more of a stretch 4 than a 3

Don't trust the Future150 scouting report.

Brewer shot below 60% from the free throw line this summer, and didn't even attempt a 3 in Adidas play. He rebounds like a SF or SG, got 0 steals, and 0.4 BPG. 48% on 2PA.

From May:

adidas Uprising ATL SMU Recruiting Notebook
MBA Hoops shooting guard Tyron Brewer is one to watch for SMU as the evaluation period rolls along. Ole Miss, Southern Miss and UTEP have offered the 6-6 wing. Arguably one of the most athletic players on the floor, Brewer is teammates with a few uber-athletic big men, but he takes the jump for MBA, which says a lot. Brewer is completely wide open and SMU was blown away watching him. He's got plenty of bounce and is long. He'd be a great fit for SMU.

He was at the same tournament as us the second weekend in July. He's an athletic four man. Doesn't play on the perimeter a ton. Was very athletic very active. Didn't see much skill wise.

Sign this kid up.
Description reminds me of Kevin Freeman, although Kelis Fisher was a very skilled player.
With the way the game is evolving, the demand for athletic garbage men grows

He's got a live body.. always active... and runs the court well... a glue type kid...

Via Hoopseen:

Tyron Brewer – A small forward with incredible bounce, Brewer, a 6’5” athlete, has expressed interest from Florida State and Wichita State.

Tyron Brewer, 2018 SF, Meridian (MS): Brewer tipped off the event as one of the biggest competitors in the building. The long, 6-foot-6 wing is a supreme athlete and excels attacking the rim. His shooting needs to get more consistent, but he showed the ability to hit some shots in a rhythm. Brewer plays with a high motor constantly, as he competes on both ends of the floor with his length and athleticism. He blocked several shots and can cause havoc on the defensive end. To end the day Saturday, Brewer and Robert Woodard had a highly contested matchup and onlookers left impressed with the play of the Meridian standout.

Watching his video he kind of reminded me of SMU's Jarrey Foster.

My biggest concern is that he loses an inch after every post. After 4 more posts, he'll be 6'2', all his other suitors will pull their scholarship offers, and we'll be stuck with an undersized stretch 4.

Lol, yeah these are going back in time. So he was 6'5 in 2016. If I had to guess he's probably not quite 6'7. But to his credit he does have that long/lanky look and obviously we know he's very athletic.

Tyron “Ty” Brewer 6-6 2018 G Meridian 6-8 wingspan: Long lanky guard that wasn’t afraid of a challenge. He was always in the mix in the good battles on the court. He showed some range, one of the things he was missing last year.

Brewer has proven he is one of the top prospects in Mississippi regardless of class for a couple of years now. A consensus three-star 2018 guard, Brewer has above-average range, athleticism and can finish with contact, college coaches say. Meridian was ranked as the preseason No. 1 in the Super 10 and Brewer is a significant reason why.
