But Giffey wasn't confident at all doing anything with the ball as a sophomore either and his defense was similar to Polley at that point also. Not sure whether you've seen Polley block shots, get into passing lanes pretty well etc.. He's not great yet but shows very good potential as a defender and will be ok offensively at least unless he finds more.
