Let's get it boys!

Other center candidates come with less shooting range but more bulky physicality, including Jalen Duren, Walker Kessler, Jarrett Allen and Donovan Clingan. Zion Williamson and Paolo Banchero are wild cards who balance tremendous potential with major flaws.
Other options offer more specialized skill sets. Trey Murphy III and Michael Porter Jr. would provide size and shooting, which is always a plus on the international stage, while a litany of ace perimeter defenders -- Amen Thompson, Tari Eason, Stephon Castle, Jaden McDaniels, Herbert Jones -- could serve as energy guys and designated stoppers off the bench.

Castle will be in a race with Amen Thompson for a similar role on the team unlikely they take two similar archetype players. I think Castle has a good chance to get a spot but Amen would have the edge if they were choosing today.

I think Clingan actually has a slightly better chance. Having a 7' 2" body to clog the paint who has shown real signs of growth as a 3 pt shooter will be hard to leave off a roster. Jalen Duren and Bam Adebayo are similar players I think its likely one gets left off to get Clingan's size. If he was on the Knicks instead of the Blazers he would already be a much higher profile player. Dominated his game last night.
