Count down to lift off? Nope. National championships for Faris, Griner, and Diggins. Not to ignore Doty and Buck, but the involvement of Faris in 2 championships is no coincidence.
And how any "experts" could watch how UConn was demolishing everyone in this tournament and pick LVille to win and imagine Slaughter better than KMl, shows how carried away these people can be by a nice story. Walz is a good coach, and his defensive genius kept us under 100. I told friends before the game that if Walz wanted to play at a 70 pace, UConn would go over 90. I wanna be an expert. I will say, though, that LVille did us a big favor by knocking out Baylor. Don't know that we couldn't have beaten them, but hitting 90 want gonna happen. Cheers all.
