Curious selection of grad transfers Porter/Buckman/Burns over Clercius/Ross/Flynn...maybe extra motivation by the staff to push the returning talent?

That being said, wayyyy more talent at the WR this year compared to previous years.

Clercius not starting is somewhat surprising.

2 graduate transfer receivers get the nod on the outside. Hicks must be our second best burner after Porter.

Looks like Houston will get the first snaps against NCST.

TE is intentionally confusing, but not surprised Joly is listed first.

Not surpising at all. WR's who played a bunch last year mostly got snaps due to injuries above them on the depth chart.

How would you rate the OL and DL this year for the team?
The DL can go further into the roster than the two-deep which is just crazy. The OL has two national level guards, but I don't think anyone knows how they are going to stack up at center versus last year and am still a bit iffy about Lundt at RT. Have to see how he handles things when opposing teams try to exploit him without TE help.

I will assume that Walker and fortin will get a rotation and whoever is doing better as the game goes on will stay the starter.

I think wolith the depth at TE that we now have, Lundt will probably get a little more support over there.

Two weeks ago, Rosa was "our third string running back right now," but now he's "either/or" at number 2.

Feel good about most of this two deep. Lots of question marks at WR, CB looks like it may just be ok, and LB is a bit thin. Overall we should be improved over last year.

It's really all about the passing game, need 200+ ypg. Improvement at QB 1st but also RB (which doesn't necessarily mean more ypg) WR (separation) and TE (blocking/over middle catches). Need to be able to stay with teams that put up some points, even UMass scored 40 in 1st game.
