Not a huge fan of polls but I was thinking about the dichotomies of the Boneyard on two issues. The perception of the AAC (specifically in football) and the perception of UConn (also specifically in football). I'd be interested to see where people fall in their opinions among the following four buckets:
1) The snobs - The AAC sucks and it is beneath UConn football
2) The fatalists - The AAC sucks, UConn football sucks
3) The optimists - The AAC is OK and UConn football is going to be very good
4) The realists - The AAC is OK and UConn football is going to struggle to be competitive
All of this assumes the existing coaching staff stays on for the medium term and the AAC stays intact in its current form for something like three or four years.
p.s. Notice I used the AAC acronym to avoid having to say that the American sucks...
