I too picked Maryland to beat ND in the Regional Final. Just a gut feeling I got when working my bracket.

Anyone, be they an ND fan or a UConn fan, who wants to see those two teams square off for a fourth time this season, is absolutely batty.

Although I would have been very happy to have met them a 4th time in a NCAA Championship game.

Muffet is a better coach than Brenda so I expect ND to win but MD will be a tough matchup. Duke should have beaten ND earlier. And like others send I much prefer MD to facing ND again simply because of the lack of familiarity between UConn and MD.

Maryland is more likely than ND to stumble before the regional finals, but both would have match-up problems against each other. ND needs to get 20+ turnovers and/or 20+ FTs to win. They will not be able to stop Alyssa Thomas. Unlike UConn, Maryland can score from 5 spots, at last when Kizer is on the floor for Devaughn. Hawkins is a rebounding machine.

Stopping Thomas may not be their intention. I was thinking more of a measure along the idea of bruises per square inch.

Folks here seem to be much more impressed with Maryland than I am.

I would love to see the Terps in the FF rather than having to deal with
Notre Dame again, but I think the Irish are a double digit winner if
they play MD.

That was a Duke team at full strength early in the season. We have improved since then, but we have also lost 2 starters for the season as well.

-Why have you summoned me, Master?
- I entirely agree it is repetitive. I would far, far prefer they had set up that potential match instead for all the marbles in the Final (is that too much to ask). But, failing that, oh yeah, I prefer seeing maximum strong Big East teams make the FF… and think the drama of these two emerging rivals fighting it out again, with a trip to the Finals at stake, would be tough to beat. Even more engaging than UConn-MD, in my mind. Compelling WCBB. But,I won’t argue about it; because its seems so likely to happen anyway.
-But I entirely agree it is repetitive. Did I mention that?

I chose Maryland...I think we'd beat ND (ok, maybe!), but I just do not like them.

Well, maybe Maryland is not ready to get clawed and scratched.
