Are you trying to stream on WatchESPN/ESPN3? Definitely on unless you're in the SNY area or Guatamala

We watch SNY games on a big screen TV on ESPN overflow channels like the dude in Florida. Not on. End of story.

Got it on my tablet. I just prefer not to watch that way.

If you use the ESPN box scores you have noticed that they are erratic. Saturday, the UConn box score disappeared several times. I've seen this all season on games all over the country. And it was happening during the baseball season. I wouldn't be surprised if the system ESPN uses has been updated and patched many times and that the people who kept it operating either left or were let go.

Yeah, that's massively incorrect. I'd know, since I'm one of those folks.

9 times out of 10, if a box score disappears, it's because the school stopped sending the stats. Their stuff broke, someone kicked out a wire, computer failure, etc. Innocuous stuff that happens.

I'm sure that a lot of it is as you say. But there were problems with the baseball boxscores also. The game would be over and the ESPN box score still showed the third inning. Your explanation doesn't explain the the failure to adjust the programming to the change to 4 quarters. Box scores were listing the 3rd and 4th periods as the 1st and 2nd OT's.

I use ESPN's data all year and have done so for years. This year there seem to be a lot more glitches. The lost UConn-SMU game on ESPN3 wasn't any school's fault. That was a human error at ESPN.

The ot thing was related to the switch to quarters and got fixed in the first week. There are always things you can miss in testing because you can't perfectly simulate a new environment, even stuff that seems obvious, and we have really great engineers that fixed it right away. Baseball comes down to the feed from MLB. I can't give away state secrets but these are situations where vendors make errors and it ends up looking like we messed up.
