But she just hit the game winning 3 point basket at the buzzer. Wow. Tulsa had a two point lead with 6.7 seconds left. Karima Christmas went to the FT line and missed both free throws. Tolliver comes down and nails the 3 pointer to win the game. Unbelievable. Tough for Tulsa. That would have been their first win of the season.
But my eyes really jumped to the big 14 in the turnover column on the box score. That has to be some kind of record. Tolliver is an extremely talented scorer, but she is no PG. Girl can hit a clutch shot though.

Nneka was great. Her and Glory Johnson both really impressed me to some degree in this game. They've got great careers ahead of them. Tulsa absolutely should have won this game. But as we all know, free throws will make or break you. Have to get the freebies.

hey Card... Dish & Swish and WNBA's Live Stat was moving very slow so I jumped the gun assuming they WOULD pull it off SMH

Glory plays great D, but in 4 years in college, she didn't develop an offensive game like Nneka. Maybe she will in the W....

I just had a funny feeling that the Sparks would pull it off. I know you weren't hoping Nneka would lose. I was torn too because I like Kayla a lot too and want her to do well.

I didnt SEE the game... I was looking at numbers. I guess looking and listening to the mood of the game I can understand your "funny feeling".
as Goodies said, up 4 with 10 seconds left... you would think it was an L for the Sparks.

True. She was slightly better this past year but unless she was right under the basket you pretty much could count on her missing wide open shot more times than not.
