The loss to Tulsa was brutal but not a huge hit RPI wise. We looked terrible and our guards minus T-Sam and Hamilton were getting blown by like they were chairs. Boatright was off and is not showing tht consistency and fortitutde that we expect from him as a senior. Kevin Ollie's offensive strategy is being exposed with throwing the ball around the perimeter for 30 seconds and taking contested jumpers by Boatright, Purvis, etc. Kevin Ollie's lovefest with the Buick is leading to tensions on the team and lackadaisical displays of basketball in first half of games. Amida was very good and should have been fed the ball a lot more.

Kevin Ollie needs to start calling timeouts the first minute of games when the players are playing tha badly, they need some tough love. Jim Calhoun was a master of this and if not performing players should get yanked to the bench starting with Purvis. Omar needs to start for this team's issues to be rectified and for team chemistry and harmony to occur. This team needs balance and needs to play inside out where Amida usally has an advantage over other team's big men.

Purvis is what he is-- a tease-- and has attitude problems on the court. He is best suited as a sixth man and can only hope to be as good as Dyson some compare him to.

Rakim--- The only player other than Amida and Boatright that has understanding, and knows how to close out to open shooters. How he played less than Phil yesterday is beyond me.
