Wow- it's strange but I actually do care about this score. So weird.

Upsets like this are exciting video for 10-15 seconds, yet further the common public perception of the AAC being a trash league, whether its truthful or not. The top teams of the AAC need to win the games they should, and the bottom dwellers need to pull themselves up out of the sub-200 RPIs without hitting lucky 30 footers against a top tier team of the conference to do it. Otherwise the selection committee will never award an AAC team anything above a 5 seed due to the same reasoning of last years seeding: "The AAC just beat itself up" which to our conference is somehow an insult, whereas if you say the same thing about the ACC or the old BE it would be a compliment as well as a reason to get 7 teams into the tourney.

Does this help or hurt NCAA chances? Win vs Cinci not as impressive anymore? Moving up in standings helps AAC tourney seeding. Some one smarter than me to let me know?
