Tucker McDonald?

My understanding was he was cleared the day before the game. He may not have practiced enough to participate, especially in those conditions (mere conjecture).
That's why I was asking. I'd heard he was taking snaps in the pregame... Injury would be the best answer, I think, to the question.

I hope Tucker sticks around long enough to get a fair eval from Coach Candle or at least something definitive about his future with the team. There were a lot of reasons he got stuck behind Evers that may have slowed his progress. I think he has value and a new Coach should encourage competition unless a dead ringer with experience falls in our lap.

If my recollection is wrong apologies, but didn't he miss a bunch of time last year as well due to injuries picked up in practice? That's a bit of a red flag potentially, but if he's not costing as money or keeping us from having a ready #1, no problem with him coming back.

Broken foot end of last year…

Or maybe he was practicing hard and not getting played with paddy cakes like the one and two guys. Grinch.

Farrar showed a few flashes but he needs a ton of work. His release is low and slow. Slow processing, no touch and poor decisions are all part of no reps. Can’t blame him for that. As an aside, making yourself a distinct visible target with bright orange shoes is just the epitome of stupid. Kid might have potential but looks like a project that requires cycles we probably don’t have.

Yeah, he stepped up in a bad spot. Can't fault him but can't be thinking he's the plan for next year either.
